It gives a back length of 28.23 inches for size M and sizes XS to XL. The list price shown was $49 USD, with $36.75 displayed during a 25% promotion on the day we checked.
- 02Arket 270 GSM Oversized T-Shirt in White: the UK page lists 100% cotton in a 270 GSM single jersey and calls it the most heavyweight of its everyday T-shirts. It describes a slightly oversized silhouette with longer sleeves and 1x1 rib binding at the neck, in sizes XS to XL, at £35 GBP. Arket sits in the same parent group as COS, so this is the closest relative on the list.
- 03Asket The T-Shirt in White: the US page lists 100% organic long staple cotton in a compact 180gsm single jersey that Asket calls midweight. The cut is described as classic and straight, with Short, Regular and Long lengths across sizes XS to XXL. The page says it is milled, cut and sewn in Portugal and lists 65 USD. Choose it if body length matters more to you than fabric weight.
- 04Sunspel Classic T-shirt in White: the US page lists 100% Supima cotton, extra-long staple and two-fold, made in England at the Sunspel factory in Long Eaton. It describes a slim fit and lists $98 USD. The page does not publish a fabric weight, so we have not assigned one. It is the opposite shape to the COS reference: close through the chest, waist and sleeves.

Ribbed crew neck and side-seamed construction. These are our own declared specifications. They do not establish that it fits or feels like the COS model, and you cannot buy it today: it is open for waitlist interest only.
- 06Read the weights as a spread, not a score. The published figures run from 180gsm (Asket) through 220 GSM (1ABEL) and 270 GSM (Arket) to 320gsm (COS), with no figure from Sunspel. Weight describes fabric mass per area. It does not tell you how a T-shirt will fit, feel or last.
- 07Compare fit with measurements. Lay a T-shirt you already like flat and note chest width, shoulder width, body length and sleeve length. "Oversized" at COS, "slightly oversized" at Arket and "boxy" in our catalog are three different patterns, and a dropped shoulder changes where a sleeve measurement starts.
- 08Compare the final delivered cost in your own market. These sources list USD and GBP prices, and COS showed a promotional price on the check date. Delivery, tax, promotions and return costs can all change the total, so we have not converted the prices or placed them in an order.
